Just last month, JR De Bard, the creator behind Underground, officially received the Bronze Award at the 18th Annual Japan International Manga Awards—an incredible honor and milestone for both JR and the world’s most diverse manga brand. The timing couldn’t be better, with Underground Volume 2 of his acclaimed series already announced and on the way!
At the ceremony, JR accepted his award with grace and delivered an acceptance speech. This achievement is no small feat, and we’re beyond excited for what’s coming next from JR.
