Your favorite Dragonball heros are now bite sized. The highly anticipated new Dragon Ball series – DRAGONBALL DAIMA, announced last year, has finally dropped its first full trailer!
This trailer showcases some stunning animation on par with the big-budget Dragon Ball movies, which is exactly what fans have been hoping for.
With Dragon Ball celebrating its 40th anniversary, this series holds extra significance as it’s the final project Akira Toriyama worked on before his passing. With a release date of this October, no wonder the excitement is through the roof!

What’s the Story?
It’s not crystal clear where it fits within the Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super timelines, but some hints suggest it might pick up after the Buu saga.
One of the big mysteries? The chibification of our favorite characters! We don’t yet know what caused the main cast to become mini versions of themselves. What we do know is the story will introduce us to a brand new setting: the Demon Realm. Alongside some familiar faces, we’ll also meet new characters, that will come along on this new adventure.
Fan Concerns?
There’s a bit of hesitation among fans, especially since the new series revisits a plot point that wasn’t so well-received in Dragon Ball GT—the de-aging of the heroes. However, since this is the last series Toriyama had a hand in, it may end up being more meaningful than expected.
Personally? I’m all in. This feels like an epic side quest, packed with fun, action, and adventure. The animation looks incredible, and I’m ready for the ride!
