Saturday AM Shines at the World’s Biggest Comic Con: SDCC 2024 Recap

Man, I tell you, we are everywhere this year! As usual, you know we had to make our mark at the world’s largest comic book convention—San Diego Comic-Con 2024! Our founder and publisher, Frederick L. Jones, the mastermind behind the world’s most diverse manga brand, was all over the place—panels, signings, you name it. From ‘Keep Bans Off Our Books!’ to ‘Robots and Other Mechanical Beings,’ he was in the thick of it. And of course, he wrapped it up with some post-panel signings for his hit book, CLOCK STRIKER VOL. 1.

This year’s con was full of major announcements from Marvel, sharing teasers of their up and coming movies/shows to announcing that Robert Downy Jr. would be returning to the MCU as the next big bad Dr. Doom.  As well as new comic runs and titles like the Ultramand and Spiderman team up. Even a new animated DC show Creature commandos to kick of James Gunn’s DCU.

So much excitement this year for the comic industry and especially surrounding Saturday AM.  Frederick had this to say about his experience:

“It was an incredible experience this year! In fact, BOTH Anime Expo and SDCC were FAR BETTER SHOWS for me than previous times I’ve been. More organized, less unnecessary crowds, and easier to navigate panels. That said, my biggest takeaway is just how BIG Saturday AM has become. Whether it’s the industry itself or fans, my attendance to these big shows have had a distinct different feeling as my brand and company have gotten far more positive attention & respect than I would have expected. It’s been great to see and well-deserved for ALL of our team.”

Something we have known for a long time but has become abundantly clear after this year appearances: Saturday AM is making waves and isn’t going anywhere.  We can’t wait to reveal our next set of projects so keep those eyes peeled. Next stop? Anime NYC—wink, wink, hint, hint!”
