It’s been a few weeks since the 2024 DreamCon Convention has come and gone. It was bigger and better than the year before and the turn out was crazy. So many events, games, panels and guest appearances. From top cosplayers, artists, musicians, YouTube personalities, and more all showed up to have fun, geek out, and meet fans. All with the mutual pursuit to express their love for anime, manga, and games.
Our very own Whyt Manga returned for this year’s Dreamcon to hang out and appear as one of the panelists of the “Animation in Hollywood”. He also had the honor of doing the art for the Dreamcon 2024 badge, banner, and official t-shirt design. He absolutely killed it with the design. Check out our previous announcement coverage HERE.
Whyt Manga was there for the whole weekend and had a chance to experience the BIPOC convention first hand. He had this to say about Dreamcon 2024:
“Dreamcon 24′ was stellar this year! I met many Apple Black fans and readers and signed their books. It’s easily the most times I’ve ever been recognized in one place. It was a great event to network as I met great creatives in the comic and animation industry, some of whom I’ve looked up to, like Chase Conley, who directed the latest Marvel X-Men 97, now up for an Emmy. The environment was very welcoming, and I’m glad. I got to be a part of it, including drawing the official Dreamcon banner with all RDCworld1 members.”

This year was amazing and we can’t wait to show up and show out at next years DreamCon. Make sure you keep your eyes on the official Dreamcon Socials and website for updates about next year’s location and tickets.
