Last weekend was hype as hell for Chicago’s comic book fans. the integral C2E2 Expo hosted by Reedpop! This pop culture event has it all from Comics, cosplay, gaming, wrestling, and anime.
You know that we had to show our face as Saturday AM’s World Tour continues! We had the Chicago native and mastermind behind Titan King roll up to the party and do his thing – Book signing and speaking on a panel.
Tony had the honor of being a part of the panel “Keep Bans Off Our Books”. The topic at hand is such an important one too. As censorship has risen over the years so many mediums have been affected – especially books like graphic novels. Tony and other panelists such as Eti Berland, and Chas! Pangburn sat down and discussed the literacy around graphic novels and how to combat censorship.
We got to speak with Tony about his experience and his final thoughts about the event as a whole.
“C2E2 was a very different experience for me as I haven’t been to many conventions, but I had a blast! Definitely a much bigger convention than I thought but a nice surprise. It was nice getting to talk to people and sign a few volumes of Titan King. I’ll definitely be back even if just to peruse around the area!”
Tony Had an absolute blast as you can read and we can’t wait to attend next year!
